Pakistan has made a strong decision by calling back its envoy from Iran after the missile attack. The decision to bring back the representative from Iran is due to a violation of Pakistani airspace on Tuesday. The incident, resulting in the deaths of two children and injuries to three girls, has prompted this action.

The Foreign Office spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, stated on Wednesday that all official visits from Pakistan to Iran are now suspended. Additionally, Pakistan has asked the Iranian ambassador in Islamabad, currently in his home country, not to return.

In a statement, the Foreign Office expressed strong disapproval, calling the breach of Pakistan’s sovereignty by Iran a violation of international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter. Pakistan asserts the right to respond to this unacceptable act, placing responsibility squarely on Iran.

Pakistan has conveyed this message to the Iranian government and specified the recall of its ambassador from Iran. The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, currently in Iran, has been requested not to return for the time being. High-level visits between the two countries are also suspended amidst rising Pakistan Iran tension.

Earlier on Wednesday, Pakistan had strongly condemned Iran’s unprovoked violation of its airspace and the subsequent strike on Pakistani territory. The Foreign Office emphasized that such actions, despite existing communication channels between the two nations, are completely unacceptable and may have serious consequences.

The Foreign Office spokesperson noted that the Iranian charge d’affaires had been summoned to convey Pakistan’s strongest condemnation of the violation of sovereignty. The responsibility for the consequences is firmly placed on Iran.
