The Government of Pakistan has launched an account on X (formerly Twitter). The account aims to bust propaganda about General Election 2024. There are reports PTI may try to launch propaganda against State of Pakistan. PTI will allegedly be posting old and staged videos to create chaos and spread misinformation in order to discredit the entire electoral process.
The first post states, “Elections are near & PTI is gearing up for spreading chaos during polls on Feb’ 8th. This account aims to post videos which may be used by PTI propagandists to create a situation of anarchy in Pakistan.”
