Mein Episode 16 turned out to be more of the same. Such a star-studded cast has been wasted in this drama. Having Wahaj Ali and Ayeza Khan as the main leads, the audience was expecting a good, solid drama but have been disappointed so far.
The latest episode sees Zaid leaving home after his father disowns him. One could ask why Zaid hadn’t taken a stand earlier and married Ayra as he had wanted to. Also, the major fault in the drama’s scenario seems to be Zaid. He didn’t have to marry Mubashara. Like, no one forced him to. It was ultimately his own ego that compelled him to say yes to the marriage because he was angry Ayra hadn’t agreed to elope with him.
Mubashara’s character is over-the-top. And it looks like the writers can’t seem to decide whether to make her the ultimate villain or leave some place for her to be the victim.
Zaid has left home now and very conveniently ends up getting a job in the company of his father’s adversary. Some unreal situations.
Mein – Wahaj & Ayeza?
The audience is left wondering what the team intends to do about the Zaid-Mubashara story. The general feeling is that Zaid is the only bad guy in this relationship as we’ve already seen him cheating on his wife unapologetically. So where does their relationship go? It’s a total mess right now.
