Gumn Episode 10 – The Secret of the Past is Out, Its Ugly

Gumn’s latest episode was an explosive one as all the questions from the past were finally answered. All the details were revealed as to what transpired in the past few years.

The episode started by showing what exactly had happened on the fateful night. Rayaan’s sister, Haniya, had gone to a function with her friend and they’re seen waiting for the friend’s driver to take them home. The driver never arrived and the two girls eventually agree to an offer by a friend to take them home. This mistake proves to be fatal for Haniya. After her friend is dropped home, she is raped and murdered by four boys, one of them being the son of Shakir Hussain (Usman Peerzada).

Then we have Rayaan (Feroze Qadri) getting his memory back as he went back to the place of the accident. He remembers everything about how his sister was murdered and the lawyer, Ahsan Malik, saved the murderers. Rayaan also recalls how he took matters into his own hands and had killed three of the four men himself. The fourth one, Hameed Hussain, fled abroad.

Rayaan then visits his father in the old age home and we get to know how Rayaan had lied to his father. It is obvious now that Rayaan had told his father he was pursuing his medical career but instead he was investigating himself and taking revenge for his sister’s murder. It looks like he has murdered three of the four men involved.

At the firm, Sameer is attacked by goons and beaten badly. He was already getting threats because of a case and we see people storming into the office and beating him. Maya (Tooba Siddiqui) is also threatened at gunpoint but they all manage to escape the situation without much damage.

Rayaan and Maya get to talk a little and Maya realizes that Rayaan would be moving back into his own life. The ending of the episode also shows how Shahid (Furqan Qureshi) is following Rayaan and still trying to find out something about the unknown past of Rayaan.
