Meher Mah’s latest episode had a climax when Ruhi had to face something buried in her past. Ruhi’s (Hira Mani) husband, who was presumed dead, has resurfaced and things are getting complicated. The viewers have been able to tell for a few episodes now but Ruhi just came face to face with him. What’s bewildering is why she has remained silent afterwards.
The normal reaction would have been Ruhi telling everyone how Shahmeer is her husband. But the ‘normal’ rarely happens in our dramas, right? Instead we have Ruhi hiding this fact from everyone and now getting blackmailed by the vile man. Let’s see how long this scenario is stretched.
Shammo is handling her situation very well and it’s heartening to see a female character in a Pakistani drama handling the divorce issue in a dignified manner. And most in her family as well, especially the father and brother. Kudos to the team for that!
Rohail (Affan Waheed) is realising the strong feelings he has developed for Ruhi and we might be seeing some progress on this front as well.
